Making strong passwords
Do not use words or names that can be found in a dictionary or Date of Birth because these can all be cracked during a brute force attack.
Unix uses 8 character passwords for example
A4u6m3G5 Rated less than strong
To make this into a really strong password change 2 numbers or letters to symbols
A$u6(3G5 Rated strong
Then add another 8 character password
P*r!b7H9
A$u6(3G5P*r!B7H9 Rated very strong

To make very strong passwords download Chaos Generator then install.
Disconnect from the Internet or network.
Now create 99 x 16 character passwords using Chaos Generator with letters, numbers and symbols. Copy and paste into Notepad and save to a secure USB flash drive for example a DataTraveler Secure or Jump Drive Secure II.
Delete contents from clipbrd (Windows Clipboard)
You now only need to remember one password to access your secure flash drive.
Connect back onto the Internet or network.
